Brainstorm Media has acquired U.S. distribution rights to Imposters, with a theatrical release planned for early 2027.[1][2] The sci-fi thriller premiered at SXSW earlier this year and is the feature debut of writer-director Caleb Phillips.[1][2]
Jessica Rothe and Charlie Barnett star as parents whose baby boy is abducted, after which the mother finds a way to bring him back.[1][2] The father begins to suspect the returned child is not their son.[1][2] Yul Vazquez also appears in the film.[1]
Steven Schneider is an executive producer, according to Bloody Disgusting.[2] Dread Central reports that Thomas Bond, Sara Seligman and Joe Bandelli produced the film.[1] The early 2027 release date is the only timing provided in the reports.[1][2]
