Prime Video has renewed Carrie for a second season, continuing Mike Flanagan’s television adaptation of Stephen King’s story. The announcement came after the series’ first season debuted on October 7.[1][2][3]
Summer H. Howell stars as Carrie White, with Samantha Sloyan playing her mother, Margaret White. Prime Video says the series reached the top spot in its weekly global television rankings in more than 105 countries, though it has not released viewing figures.[1][2]
All eight first-season episodes are streaming on Prime Video. Flanagan said the story was planned to go beyond the prom, while King said he was eager to see what comes next for Carrie. No release date for season two was included in the announcement, according to Dread Central.[1]
